Fortitude
Fortitude is the Discipline of supernatural toughness — the body of stone, the will of iron. It lets Kindred endure fire, sunlight, claws, and blades that would shred others. Where Celerity is speed and Potence is strength, Fortitude is the power to survive.
Favored by Gangrel, Ventrue, and Hecata, Fortitude makes them bulwarks in battle and stubborn masters of their domains. Mortals see it as impossible survival — the man shot a dozen times and still walking.
Narrative Uses
Walk unharmed through fire long enough to escape.
Endure a mortal’s bullets and keep advancing.
Shrug off a frenzied Brujah’s blows.
Withstand sunlight minutes longer than others.
Hold position as a bodyguard while others scatter.
Fortitude is not flashy, but it is terrifying: it turns the Damned into nightmares that will not fall.

Themes
Fortitude is the Discipline of survivors. It is persistence made flesh.
Gangrel endure by instinct, Ventrue by pride, Hecata by necessity of walking among the dead.
Others respect it, but often underestimate it — until their blades break on an elder’s skin.
To mortals, it is proof vampires are monsters. To Kindred, it is proof elders are near gods.
Fortitude reminds every vampire that unlife is not about who strikes hardest — but who refuses to fall.
