Potence
Potence is the Discipline of supernatural strength. It makes Kindred strike with the force of monsters, shatter stone, leap impossible distances, and crush mortals like paper. Where Celerity makes the Damned fast, Potence makes them overwhelming.
Favored by Brujah, Nosferatu, and Lasombra, Potence is as much about intimidation as it is brute force. To mortals, it is terrifying — a reminder that the vampire is not just a predator but a juggernaut.
Narrative Uses
Snap chains or kick through locked steel doors.
Throw a mortal across a room with one hand.
Crush a rival’s weapon mid-duel.
Leap rooftops in a single bound.
Break bones in a frenzy until nothing remains but ruin.
Potence is rarely subtle. Its use is almost always a breach of the Masquerade unless carefully hidden.
