Antediluvian
They are the grandchildren of Caine, the founders of the Clans, the sleeping gods whose dreams are the nightmares of their descendants. The Antediluvians are the @Kindred of the 3rd Generation, beings of such immense power that they are more akin to forces of nature than mere vampires. @Banu Haqim (Haqim): [Torpor?] Revered as a lawgiver and judge. He is believed to lie in torpor deep within the hidden clan headquarters at Alamut, his will still guiding his children from the depths of his slumber.
@Brujah (Ilyes or Troile the Elder): [Diablerized] The original founder is said to have been diablerized by his own childe, Troile. It is this ancient betrayal that is believed to have cursed the clan with its iconic, burning rage. The truth is lost to myth.
@Gangrel (Ennoia): [Unknown] Believed to be a truly feral being who wanders the deepest wilds of the world, having shed all traces of humanity. Her profound connection to the Earth may make her immune to many of the world's summons and conflicts.
@Hecata (Cappadocius): [Diablerized] The original founder of the necromantic bloodlines was betrayed and devoured by Augustus Giovanni. This foundational act of treachery created the Giovanni family and set the stage for the formation of the modern Hecata clan.
@Lasombra (Lasombra): [Diablerized] The clan openly boasts of having hunted down and destroyed their founder centuries ago in a grand act of patricide. This rebellious act defines their philosophy of power and shadow.
@Malkavian (Malkav): [Disembodied?] His physical form is thought to be long gone, but his consciousness survives as the source of the "Cobweb" or "Malkavian Madness Network," a psychic web that connects his entire lineage. His thoughts are said to echo through the minds of all Malkavians.
@The Ministry (Set): [Torpor] Worshipped as a dark god by his followers. He is believed to slumber in a hidden tomb deep in Egypt, his corrupting influence seeping into the mortal world like a slow, irresistible poison.
@Nosferatu (Absimiliard): [Unknown] Rumored to be a bitter, hateful creature hiding in the deepest parts of the earth. It is said he still actively hunts his own children, despising them for the curse of ugliness he unwillingly shares with them.
@Ravnos (Zapathasura): [DESTROYED] Awoke during the Week of Nightmares and was destroyed in a cataclysmic battle that scarred the globe. While the god-monster is dead, whispers persist among occultists of a single, priceless artifact: a Vial said to contain the pure, un-thinned blood of Zapathasura.
@Toreador (Arikel): [Torpor] Believed to be deeply asleep somewhere in Europe, dreaming the art and culture of the mortal world. Some Toreador mystics believe her slumber is the only thing preventing the clan from collapsing into pure hedonism and despair.
@Tremere (Saulot): [Diablerized...?] The founder of the extinct Salubri clan was diablerized by the mortal mage Tremere, who used the stolen power to create his new clan. This is the Tremere's foundational sin. However, occult lore is filled with rumors that Saulot's soul was not destroyed and is slowly corrupting the Tremere clan from within their own blood—a spiritual poison waiting for the right moment to awaken.
@Tzimisce (The Eldest): [ACTIVE] Long rumored to be sleeping beneath New York, recent whispers suggest The Eldest has overcome a period of profound, introspective confusion. Having "found itself," it has now reportedly left New York to seek the counsel of its ancient siblings. Its current location and goals are terrifyingly unknown.
@Ventrue (Ventru): [Unknown] Believed to be one of the masterminds of the Jyhad, manipulating global finance and politics from an unseen throne. His influence is felt in every stock market crash and political coup, but he remains a complete mystery.
