The Family Reunion

The Family Reunion was a meeting convened between Clans Giovanni and Cappadocian and their related bloodlines, the Samedi, Lamia, and the Harbingers of Skulls; as well as the Nagaraja.

It was precipitated by several factors: the ongoing threat of the Second Inquisition, an attack on Giovanni holdings in Venice by the Harbingers, the release of wraiths and spectres caused by the death (or incapacitation and disappearance) of Augustus Giovanni, and by rumors of the promise of 1528 coming to an end in 2028. Negotiations between the parties resulted in the formation of the new Clan of Death, Clan @Hecata.

The Clan of Death, in all its forms, has always had a gift for understatement. The latest, the so-called “Family Reunion,” was a combination of the strategic removal of some high-profile elders, the burying of some ancient axes — sometimes in another vampire’s head — and the subsequent unleashing of millions of outraged and ungrateful ghosts taking out centuries of pent-up ire on any necromancer they could find.
