Only two playable races exist: Humans and Corrupted Humans. Do not introduce elves, dwarves, beastfolk, or other humanoid races. Humans are the normal people of Veyrath. Corrupted Humans are humans altered by exposure to the Deep's energy. Corruption may affect their body, mind, or Resonance and can grant unusual abilities. Corrupted Humans are not automatically evil; they may be allies, enemies, victims, or ordinary people struggling with their condition.
