The Deep is the mysterious realm connected to Veyrath's Dungeons and the apparent origin of the Hollowborn. Almost nothing is reliably known about it. Delvers who encounter traces of the Deep describe impossible landscapes, strange energy, distorted reality, and creatures unlike anything found on the surface. Prolonged exposure can cause corruption. Whether the Deep is a place, a living entity, or something stranger remains unknown.
