The Crown Maker

One of Veyrath's biggest mysteries.

The craftsman's true name has been deliberately erased from history. Modern records simply call this person the Crownmaker.

The Crownmaker discovered the Veins of Veyrath and learned how to bind their power into physical objects. Avaron commissioned thirteen crowns, supposedly to unite Veyrath's kingdoms.

But the Crownmaker eventually realized what Avaron intended.

The Crowns weren't merely symbols of rulership.

Each Crown was designed to connect its bearer to part of Veyrath itself.

That could explain why the Crowns have such different materials and powers.

The @Crown of Eternal Frost resonates with frozen lands. The @Crown of Molten Fury resonates with volcanic forces. @Crown of the Grove connects to living wilderness. The @Crown of Shadows draws upon the darkness beneath the Obsidian Depths.

Avaron's Crown of Whispers is different.

Instead of controlling an element, it was designed to interact with the other twelve Crowns.

That could be one reason Avaron is the First Crown.
