Creation of Vibrantia Regni

Tens of thousands of years ago, this world was nothing more than a tiny, little seed in a universe, unforgiving in its nature, in its physics, in it's very being. It was until the overgod decided that the seed of Vibrantia Regni was ready to sprout, that it breathed life back into a cold, burned out star. The first breath was violent, one of a thousand cosmic firestorms, to create a tiny spark that would set the dormant rock back alight. A thousand year, it took the overgod to reignite the life back into Soldore the sun of Vibrantia Regni, and when its life was reignited, it was a glorious moment for the universe to witness. A pulse of ethereal fire, blasted through the stars, and with it, energy was transferred into the seed of Vibrantia Regni. Energy, that the seed needed to truly begin to sprout its beautiful leaves.

Years, decades, centuries passed as the seed accumulated more and more energy from the Soldore and it's released energy. Cracks began to form in the barren rock of what is to become this world. Slowly, piece by painstaking piece more cracks began to form, more pieces of rock began to crumble, until Vibrantia Regni shed its first lifeless layer. As the rock slowly started to recede from the world, a large endless ocean made of toxic fluids began to grace the universe with its presence. The ocean, while toxic, provided a basis for microscopic life forms to take root and with that, came the ability to start living, to start growing, to start multiplying. Thousands of years had passed since the overgod had set the evolution of a barren rock into motion, now slowly becoming the beautiful world known as Vibrantia Regni. Eventually the time came for the overgod to proceed to the next stage.

The basis for life had been met, at least for now, so it was time to expand on this life. New creatures slowly started to evolve from the microscopic beings that inhabited the endless oceans of Vibrantia Regni. The overgod manipulated the universe, drawing from already existing celestial bodies, using it to carve the very lands that would grace Vibrantia Regni for the remainder of its life. One by one, the overgod created continents, islands, cave structures, everything. Meticulously placing them in the endless oceans and thus creating living space for creatures that would one day walk its lands.

Eventually the overgod noticed the oceans started to become... agitated, out of balance, thus the two moons, Umbra and Obsca were created, their pull managed to quell the oceans, temper the agitation into harmonious waves, instead of cataclysmic tsunamis.

With the landmasses completed, the overgod knew that to create life that could walk the very lands, a new basis for living had to be created, and thus he breathed once more, only this time it wasn't the force of a thousand cosmic firestorms, instead, it was a gentle breeze that infused the lands with energy to start growing its flora. With a gentle nudge from the overgod, a world with only a toxic ocean and a few empty land masses, quickly became a green, vibrant world, forests slowly started to grow, the air, slowly started to become breathable, the ocean, slowly started to lose its toxic properties and the temperatures slowly started to regulate themselves in a natural fashion. With this, new life could flourish, new life could start building on the bedrock of its craftsmanship and create new wonders. However, the overgod knew, that creatures who can build, can think for themselves, can become arrogant, egoistic, selfish and destructive. Therefore, the overgod has created a pantheon of gods that will guide the new creatures that will inhabit these lands. What the overgod however did not foresee, was that by creating a pantheon of gods it inadvertently created a second pantheon of creatures. These creatures would later become known as the Monarchs, and in contrast to the gods, the monarchs walk the very lands of Vibrantia Regni, while the gods are confined to their own planes of existence that are connected to each other via ethereal bridges.

Thousands of years pass once more, and the gods know not of the existence of the Monarchs and are carefully guiding the new creatures that have started to build their lives on this wondrous world.
