Fables in the Forgotten Realms

T
Tome64

The Forgotten Realms brought to life! Designed for narrative-rich experiences in the Forgotten Realms setting of Faerun's Sword Coast. While the main focus of the world is Waterdeep, locations throughout the Sword Coast and outer planes are available as well! Including Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, The Moonsea, The Outerplanes, and more! What was once a single city has now expanded to most of Faerun in this High Fantasy adventure of magic, technology, and secrets to uncover!

Author's Note: Welcome to The Forgotten Realms Step into one of the most iconic and richly storied worlds in Tabletop, The Forgotten Realms! Now expanded and reimagined for deeper exploration and immersive play. Waterdeep: The City of Splendors is your main gateway to the other famous Sword Coast locations like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, the Moonsea Region, and even the distant reaches of the Outer Planes. While Waterdeep remains the heart of the experience, its surrounding territories are available for those bold enough to venture beyond the city walls. This adaptation builds upon official Forgotten Realms lore, but introduces both minor and major changes to support a more engaging and open-ended campaign. For example, the characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 are playable, but have been recontextualized to exist in Waterdeep rather than Baldur’s Gate. Content is designed for compatibility with Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and a host of original plot hooks waiting to be uncovered across the city’s alleys, taverns, towers, and catacombs. You’re free to explore at your own pace, shape the world as you see fit, or lose yourself in the layered politics, mysteries, and magic of the world. This is not a replacement for a traditional tabletop game—it’s a love letter to it. Dedicated to anyone who struggles to find a group and is itching to play. If you enjoy what’s inside, consider supporting the official Dungeons & Dragons books. They remain an invaluable resource for players and storytellers alike—and they make excellent collectibles. Description

Twin Songs lies on the northern bank of the Chionthar in Baldur’s Gate’s Outer City, loosely bordered by other districts. It is known as a spiritual crossroads, with streets filled with shrines, temples, and roadside altars dedicated to a wide range of deities, both well-known and obscure. The district draws pilgrims, refugees, and the grieving—offering sacred space to all, regardless of faith. The Church of Last Hope is its most prominent location, a quiet stone chapel led by the somber priestess Mother Aramina, known for comforting those who have lost everything.

Appearance

Stone-paved lanes weave through clusters of small temples and makeshift altars. Incense lingers in the air, mingling with the scent of river mist and wax. The Church of Last Hope stands modest and unadorned, its plain stone facade giving way to a silent interior dimly lit by flickering candles. Around it, shrines range from simple wood-and-cloth shelters to polished marble alcoves, draped with prayer flags and devotional cloth. The atmosphere is hushed, reverent, and quietly enduring.
