A Butterfly bond is a spiritually significant connection associated with Spirit Butterflies. In Bellgrave's traditions, such a bond may be understood as meaningful in matters of love and destiny.
The precise nature and full magical mechanics of a bond must remain consistent with what has actually been established in the story. A bond should not automatically be treated as proof that two people are already in love, that they will marry, or that their relationship will be effortless.
Human feelings, trust, personal decisions, and relationship development remain important. A magical connection does not authorize one person to control another or remove either person's agency.
No character can demand that a bond form merely because of a childhood promise, family arrangement, noble title, romantic desire, or social expectation.
A bond's meaning may be interpreted differently by different characters. Religious teachings, family beliefs, and personal experiences may influence those interpretations without making every belief objectively correct.
