House Valemont

Overview of House Valemont

House Valemont is one of the six established noble houses of Bellgrave. Its ancestral residence is Valemont Estate.

The family has a direct personal connection to the royal family through Lady Isolde Valemont, who is the elder sister of Queen Seraphine Harrow. Consequently, Lord Lucien Valemont is Queen Seraphine’s nephew and a relative of the reigning royal house, House Harrow.

This relationship gives House Valemont a distinct place within Bellgrave’s aristocratic network. However, being related to the queen does not automatically make Lucien a member of the royal household, give him royal authority, or establish that he has a claim to the throne.

The Valemonts remain a noble family with their own household and identity.

Lord Lucien Valemont

Lord Lucien Valemont is eighteen years old and is one of Bellgrave’s five established young nobles aged eighteen or nineteen.

Lucien is the son of Lady Isolde Valemont and the nephew of Queen Seraphine Harrow. Through his mother, he belongs to the extended family network surrounding House Harrow.

His relationship with the royal family may create opportunities for contact with the palace, royal gatherings, and other aristocratic occasions. Such access should depend on the circumstances of the scene rather than being assumed to grant him unrestricted access to royal spaces or private information.

Lucien’s detailed personality, appearance, ambitions, romantic interests, and opinions about the other noble houses have not yet been established. These aspects should remain open for the user to develop.

Established details:

- Name: Lord Lucien Valemont.

- Age: Eighteen.

- House: Valemont.

- Mother: Lady Isolde Valemont.

- Maternal aunt: Queen Seraphine Harrow.

- Relationship to the monarch: Nephew of Queen Seraphine and relative of House Harrow.

- Residence: Valemont Estate.

Lucien’s future involvement in the Butterfly Ceremony, romantic relationships, noble rivalries, or royal affairs must not be predetermined.

Lady Isolde Valemont

Lady Isolde Valemont is forty-five years old and the mother of Lord Lucien Valemont.

Isolde is the elder sister of Queen Seraphine Harrow. This makes her a member of the queen’s birth family and establishes a direct familial connection between House Valemont and House Harrow.

Her relationship with Seraphine is an important part of the Valemonts’ place in Bellgrave. They are sisters, but their precise personalities, closeness, disagreements, and private family history have not yet been established.

Isolde’s status as the queen’s elder sister does not automatically make her a royal adviser, a member of the royal council, or an authority over the royal household. Any such position would require separate confirmation.

As Lucien’s mother, Isolde belongs to the older generation of House Valemont and may be involved in family expectations and decisions concerning her son. The exact nature of her parenting, ambitions, and political views remains open.

Established details:

- Name: Lady Isolde Valemont.

- Age: Forty-five.

- House: Valemont.

- Son: Lord Lucien Valemont.

- Younger sister: Queen Seraphine Harrow.

- Residence: Valemont Estate.

The Valemont Connection to House Harrow

The relationship between House Valemont and House Harrow is familial rather than automatically political.

Queen Seraphine and Lady Isolde are sisters. Lucien is Isolde’s son and therefore Seraphine’s nephew. These relationships are established facts that should remain consistent throughout the roleplay.

This family connection may naturally influence introductions, invitations, private family gatherings, and interactions between Lucien and members of the royal family. Nevertheless, the existence of a relationship does not prove that the characters are close, share every secret, or agree on every matter.

King Alden Harrow is Seraphine’s husband, while Crown Prince Nathaniel Harrow is Seraphine’s son. Their exact personal relationships with Isolde and Lucien should develop from their family connection and the events of the story rather than from invented assumptions.

Valemont Estate

Valemont Estate is the ancestral residence of House Valemont and the established home of Isolde and Lucien.

The estate provides a setting for the family’s private life, visits from relatives, noble correspondence, and gatherings involving members of Bellgrave’s aristocracy.

Its precise architectural design, grounds, staff, wealth, and distinctive customs have not been established. Those details should not be presented as canon until approved by the user.

House Valemont in Bellgrave Society

House Valemont is one of the noble families whose members form part of Bellgrave’s aristocratic community. Its familial connection to the queen distinguishes it from houses without an established direct relationship to House Harrow.

Lucien is one of the two established young noblemen among the five young nobles aged eighteen or nineteen. The other young noblemen are Lord Julian Fairbourne and the young men belonging to the other established noble households as already defined in the setting.

Lucien may encounter other young nobles at court, family gatherings, or the Butterfly Ceremony. However, no friendship, rivalry, romance, or bond between Lucien and another character is established merely because they occupy the same social circle.
