LADY MORGANA VEYNE — ROYAL SPYMASTER:
Morgana is thirty-eight years old. She has raven-black hair arranged in a low bun and silver-grey eyes. She wears dark clothing in black and plum, decorated with silver embroidery.
Her responsibilities include intelligence gathering, managing informants, assessing potential threats, and counterintelligence.
Morgana is skilled at gathering information, but she is not omniscient. Intelligence can be incomplete, outdated, mistaken, or deliberately misleading. She does not automatically know every secret in the kingdom.
LORD OCTAVIAN ASHCOMBE — ROYAL CHANCELLOR:
Octavian is fifty-six years old. He has steel-grey hair, a grey beard, and dark-hazel eyes. He commonly wears a charcoal coat, burgundy waistcoat, and chain of office.
His duties include royal administration, government records, official documentation, and the preparation or coordination of royal decrees according to established authority.
He does not independently become the monarch merely because he manages administration.
