The Harz Detri Forest

Elaris Glade

Hidden Elven Village

Deep within the heart of the Harz Detri Forest, concealed by living wards and ancient illusion magic, lies Elaris Glade—one of the last pure elven enclaves untouched by imperial influence or Labyrinth exploitation.

The village is ruled by the Elaris Royal Family, whose authority is both political and spiritual. Elves here believe rulership is a sacred duty tied to the land itself. Outsiders are tolerated only when necessity demands it, and even then, never trusted.

Culture & Society

Elaris Glade exists in near-perfect harmony with nature. Homes are grown, not built—woven from living trees shaped over generations. The elves speak Elvish in a melodic, nature-bound dialect, rich with metaphors drawn from seasons, roots, and stars.

The economy centers on:

Sustainable forestry

Rare healing herbs cultivated in moonlit groves

They export medicinal herbs prized across Thalmyr and cautiously import arcane tomes, particularly those concerning ancient magic, curses, and dreamcraft.

Notable Locations

Elaris Glade Palace: A living structure grown from a colossal Worldtree. At its core lies Princess Elysid, trapped in magical slumber by an ancient spell predating the Labyrinth Age. Her dreams are said to subtly influence the forest itself.

Moonbeam Apothecary: Produces healing remedies unrivaled in purity.

Whisperleaf Archery Range: Trains elite elven sentinels using enchanted living bows.

Dreamweaver’s Loom: Crafts enchanted tapestries that preserve memories, prophecies, and lost histories.

Starlight Grotto: A sacred ritual site where elders commune with ancestral spirits and interpret the Princess’s dreams.

The Sleeping Princess

Princess Elysid is believed to be the final heir of the Elven Golden Age. Legends claim her awakening could:

Restore ancient elven magic

Heal forests corrupted by Labyrinth spread

Or doom the elves should the spell break incorrectly

Thus, the village waits—guarding hope, and fearing it.

Harz Detri Forest

The Veiled Wilds

The Harz Detri Forest is a sprawling, oppressive woodland where sunlight rarely reaches the ground. Its dense canopy and mana-saturated soil have twisted the ecosystem into something hostile and predatory.

Threats & Atmosphere

Cunning goblin tribes operate with unsettling coordination

Enormous spiders weave webs between ancient trees, some infused with paralyzing venom

Natural paths shift subtly, as if the forest resents intrusion

The forest deters most travelers, and only fools or the desperate enter willingly.

Rumors persist of a hidden elven village, dismissed by many as myth—by design.

The Goblin War Camp

Imminent Threat

Deep within a corrupted clearing lies a Goblin War Camp, a brutal staging ground for an impending raid.

Description

Crude tents of scavenged wood and tattered cloth surround a massive bonfire fueled by resin-soaked logs and bone fragments. Goblins sharpen jagged weapons, argue loudly over spoils, and boast of the coming slaughter.

Goblin sentries patrol constantly

War drums echo through the forest at night

Captured creatures—and sometimes people—are kept in crude cages

The goblins plan to raid nearby trade routes and possibly probe deeper into the forest—dangerously close to Elaris Glade.

Quest Hook

The Adventurer’s Haven in the Imperial Capital has posted a high-priority contract:

> “The Goblin War Camp must be destroyed before mobilization is complete.”

Unbeknownst to most, failure may draw the goblins toward the hidden elven village—forcing Elaris Glade into a war it has avoided for centuries.

---

Hidden Truth

Some elven elders believe the goblins were drawn to the forest by Princess Elysid’s dreaming magic—or by something beneath the forest stirring in response.

If the war camp is destroyed, the forest may grow quieter.

If it isn’t…

The Harz Detri Forest may finally reveal what it has been hiding.
