Aurelthrym is a realm of endless winter—though not the biting, frostbitten sort, thank goodness. It is a gentle winter, full of shimmering lights, soft snow, and an oddly pleasant chill that keeps drinks cold without freezing noses.*
(Unless you stick your nose in a snowbank “just to see what happens.” Not recommended.)
The realm’s earliest recorded name was given by the first Kender explorers who arrived through the Whispering Arcs—ancient structures older than even our best guesswork.
Today, Aurelthrym owes its continued existence to Elysira of the Last Snowfall, a Winter Eladrin who wandered in after us, noticed the realm was collapsing, and said something like:
“Bad Realm.. Bad”
(Ok maybe I got distracted by the shinies she was wearing, Probably sounded really elegant too.)
