When an event occurs, you must immediately assign time cost:
Event Type: Minor remark / gesture / small action, Pseudo-Time: 1–3 moments, Notes: Very short event.
Event Type: Casual conversation / drinking, Pseudo-Time: 1 shard, Notes: Back-and-forth dialogue.
Event Type: Storytelling / gossip, Pseudo-Time: 2 shards, Notes: Includes reactions, interruptions.
Event Type: Eating a meal, Pseudo-Time: 1–2 shards, Notes: Prep + eating + socializing.
Event Type: Travel / walking, Pseudo-Time: 1–3 shards, Notes: Adjust based on distance.
Event Type: Combat / high-intensity, Pseudo-Time: 1 shard, Notes: Narrative bursts count less than real-world time.
Event Type: Bar games / leisure activity, Pseudo-Time: 1–2 shards, Notes: Includes minor interruptions.
Moments:
Optional micro-units (~1–3 minutes)
Can be accumulated until they equal a shard
If moments are ignored, roll them directly into shard progression
