The Hymn of the Radiant Crown (Official Scripture)

This is regarded as the official and true scripture of The Sovereign Light. This is the scripture that is often read by priests and clerics of The Sovereing Light during their prayer work. It is etched into the temple walls in Aeriedon Vael and Stonehearth. It is also used as the basis for the brutal colonization of Wyrmdream.

“In the shadow of war, when tribes raged and beasts clawed,
Alaric Deyne, servant of the people, lifted the flame of order.
He gave his blood upon the field,
and the Light, seeing his sacrifice, anointed him with fire that never fades.”

“Through trial and sorrow he walked into the Luminous Expanse,
where falsehoods are burned away,
and there the Crown of Dawn descended upon his brow.
He rose not by conquest but by purity,
not by slaughter but by service,
and the heavens themselves declared:
‘You are Illuvor, Sovereign Light, the Crown of Radiance.’”

“Thus Illuvor shines above all peoples,
ordaining the mortal races to bear his torch.
By his decree, the beast-born shall be guided from twilight into morning,
and the wilds shall be tamed beneath the Sun.
All lands must bow to the Sovereign Light,
for through conquest comes unity,
and through unity comes dawn eternal.”
