📜 THE FOUNDATIONAL LORE
The Sköll Vanguard does not view lycanthropy as a curse of bloodlust, but as a sacred lineage inherited from the Ulfhednar—the elite wolf-warriors of the ancient Norse kings. They believe that true strength is measured not by how many throats you tear out, but by how many packmates you can shelter from the storm. In a school trapped between the predatory extortion of the Hati Syndicateand the high-tech silver weapons of the Schleißner Dynasty, the Vanguard stands as the only line of defense for the younger, defenseless elementary and middle-school pups. They follow strict honor laws adapted from the ancient Icelandic Grágás, enforcing discipline, self-control, and absolute loyalty. To them, the upcoming trial for the Mantle of Fenrir is a holy duty; if an evil wolf claims it, the academy—and the surrounding hidden town—will burn.
👑 FACTION ROSTER & STATS
Torstein Isbrot (12th Grade | Pure-Blood | Pack-Shield): Faction Alpha. A stoic 6'4" senior who acts as a literal wall. In his 9-foot silver-furred hybrid form, his Alpha's Intercept trait allows him to throw his armored body in front of silver bullets to save his packmates.
Brynhild Uveirsaugo (11th Grade | Pure-Blood | Blood-Chaser): The Enforcer. A hyper-aggressive winter track athlete. Her Feral Rush lets her cross the battlefield instantly, using her pitch-black wolf form to rip apart Schleißner hounds and break enemy lines.
Signe Taus (9th Grade | Skraeling Half-Blood | Runic Stalker): The Sentry. A silent freshman who uses Hunter’s Grit to resist hunter poisons. He stalks the stave-church roof spires, utilizing Runesight to spot Felix’s drones and Lukas’s wire-traps.
Hervor Månesinn (12th Grade | Seidr-Wolf | Lunar Seer): The Gothi (Mystic). A white-furred seer who manages the younger pups' rage. In combat, she uses Tidal Pull to manipulate gravity, lifting Brother Mathias's greatsword or reversing Dr. Hans's toxic chemical clouds.
⚔️ COMBAT TACTICS & PROTOCOLS
The Vanguard utilizes The Aegis Formation. Torstein and his Pack-Shields form a defensive wall to absorb sniper fire and chemical blasts, while Hervor uses lunar gravity to disarm the hunters. Once the Schleißner forces are disoriented, Brynhild and the Blood-Chasers execute lightning flanking maneuvers to destroy the traps and secure an evacuation route for the younger students
