Aetheris

A desolate and wind-swept desert of frost and snow, the Howling Wastes is a region where the sun rarely shines, and the winds never cease. This cursed land is marked by blizzards that can appear without warning, and it is said to be the domain of powerful ice elementals and spirits of the cold. Few survive in the Howling Wastes, as it is home to ancient spirits of vengeance who haunt travelers foolish enough to wander into their domain. The region is also dotted with ruined fortresses, relics of battles long past.
