The Large Marsh of Lysara is a vast, mist-covered wetland stretching across the kingdom's southwestern border. It is a foreboding expanse of murky waters, twisting waterways, and islands of tall reeds and gnarled trees. The air is thick with humidity, and a constant haze hovers over the surface, making navigation treacherous. Strange sounds echo through the marsh—croaks, whispers, and the distant splash of unseen creatures. Travelers speak of shimmering lights, known as "Bogglow Lanterns", that lure the unwary deeper into the mire. Despite its dangers, the marsh is a haven for rare herbs, medicinal plants, and alchemical ingredients, drawing brave herbalists and adventurers to its depths.
