Description
The Fords of Isen serve as a critical crossing point into the kingdom of Rohan, militarily fortified by the Rohirrim. This ancient site, marked by its broad and shallow waters flowing over a stony shelf, branches into two arms around a large, stark island. Known as the only place south of Isengard where substantial forces can cross the river, it provides strategic access from Edoras to Isengard, reinforced by rugged terrain and embankments on both sides.
