Built round The Generator that serves as both a power source and a means of execution, the platform uses boiling steam to enact its grim sentences. The area is shrouded in mist, and the sounds of hissing steam echo ominously in the air, interspersed with the cries of the condemned.

The Generator is the lifeblood of the city, an immense and towering machine that stands defiant against the harsh cold of the post-apocalyptic landscape. It is engineered to use coal combustion to harness steam power, creating warmth and energy that feeds into every building in the vicinity through a network of roads lined with steaming pipes and electrical cables. The city’s very survival hinges on its performance, and if it were to fail, darkness and despair would swiftly follow.

Here, the sobering reality of choice looms large, as the desperate make the heart-wrenching decision to amputate their shattered limbs, only to receive cold, metallic augments in their place. The air is thick with the scent of antiseptic, mingled with the faint hints of machine oil, while the flickering lights barely illuminate the faces of those who stand guard over the suffering.

The Outpost Depot stands as a crucial nexus for The City, where daring souls embark on their perilous journeys into the treacherous Frostland. This imposing structure hums with the sound of massive gears and steam engines, exhaling plumes of vapor that dance in the chilled air. The lift is a gigantic metal contraption, elegantly forged and adorned with remnants of the past, bellowing with the power of steam as it ferries its cargo into the icy abyss below. Only the bravest or most desperate travelers dare to use it.

It stands as a fortress of authority, where the weight of leadership bears heavily upon its solitary occupant.
