During the witch hunt, sorcerers took refuge in these places, many of whom were executed on Gallows Hill. It is enough to wander a little among its dilapidated houses and admire the beautiful examples of Georgian architecture, and there will be a strong feeling that Arkham not only remains vulnerable to the penetration of mysterious shadows, but is still inhabited by the ghosts of the past.
