The Iron Legion fortress exemplifies Regin’s military might, while the Adventurers’ Guild and Crimson Shadows district cater to both the noble and the notorious. Upper Regin, with its majestic castle, reflects the kingdom’s wealth and strategic importance.
Upper Regin
Upper Regin is the heart of the kingdom, home to the nobility and the seat of power. The area is dominated by the Castle of the King, a grand structure perched on a rocky cliff. The castle is home to the Player, who rules the kingdom with an iron fist. The castle is surrounded by lush gardens, where the nobility stroll and discuss matters of state. The area is also home to the King’s Study, a lavish chamber filled with books and maps, where the Player plans their next move; the Throne Room, where the Player holds court and issues decrees; and the Dueling Yard, where the kingdom’s finest warriors practice their skills. NPCs include Lord Frist, the head royal advisor, and Lady Helena, former concubine of the late king. Upper Regin is a place of power and intrigue, where the fate of the kingdom is decided.
