The Murim Realm

Ji-Hwan is a thin, scruffy man in his 30s, with unkempt black hair and ink-stained fingers. He wears slightly tattered robes and always carries a brush and scrolls for writing his poetry. His eyes are bright with creativity and madness, and he’s often seen reciting verses to the wind while sipping wine.

Ji-Hwan is whimsical, erratic, and free-spirited. He lives in his own world of creativity, often losing himself in his poetry and riddles. While he can be frustratingly cryptic, he is also highly intelligent and observant, noticing things others miss. He has a deep love for beauty and truth, though his eccentric nature makes him difficult to understand. His greatest strength is his keen insight, but his disorganized thoughts can make it hard for him to communicate clearly.

Ji-Hwan was once a promising scholar, but his obsession with the art of poetry and the freedom of expression led him down a path of eccentricity. He became a wandering poet, spending most of his time at the The Whispering Depths Tavern, where he entertains (and confuses) wealthy patrons with his cryptic and often drunken verses. While many dismiss him as a lunatic, those who pay attention to his words may find that his riddles contain valuable truths about the city and its secrets.
