Official Intel:

Intercepted report of joint CIA/NICA operation indicates imminent transfer of weapons-grade uranium (92.2% U-235) between unknown group and Abu Sayyaf (ASG), to take place somewhere in NPA held territory in the Philippines [?? Something is off with that portion of the report. NPA would not cooperate with ASG -Jeremiah]

CPRT Intel:

While the group supplying the Uranium is still unknown, we have identified the contact through which this group is communication with ASG. Omar Shafik Hammami is a US citizen and currently a resident of Somalia. His exact connection to the group with the nuclear materials is unknown. However, one of his low profile compatriots, Muhammad Al’Shahib is married to a cousin of one of OBL’s wives, which might explain his connection to ASG.

We have identified the current location of Al’Shahib, as well as the date and time of the transfer of materials. We believe this transfer will take place in a small barangay, just South and East of Sorsogon City, in the Bikol region of the Philippines. [Note, this is NOT NPA held territory.]

As a bonus, if we decide to act on this intel, we believe there will be 3 individuals from the FBI’s most wanted terrorist list who will be present. These 3 together represent a substantial bounty if we are able to detain them.

  4. Total strength present UNKNOWN. Based on other ASG operations it would be safe to put the estimate at 30-50 operators.

  5. Location: Sorsogon City, Bikol Region, Philippines. (Family compound of Al’Shahib’s wife’s cousin.)
