Brownrot

Brownrot

Once a thriving settlement called Greenlife, Brownrot lies within the shadowy confines of Darkmoore. The creeping mist has driven away most of its population, leaving behind only the resilient few who survive amidst decay. The town now houses a meager 250 residents and is defined by its solitary inn and a dilapidated food store that sells fish and rotted mushrooms, epitomizing the grim nature of their existence.

Darkmoore

Darkmoore

Darkmoore was a land once great, a massive forest filled with trees, farms, bustling trade routes and many different ways of life. An undetermined amount of years ago a mist took over the lands, killing livestock and destroying crops. Only the determined survived and only the truly mad still live here. The land is now always dark, the sun blotted out by the mist.

Once a thriving center of knowledge, Darkmoore University now stands shrouded in mystery and dense mist. Scholars, long gone or hidden away, have left behind an enigmatic atmosphere where the pursuit of knowledge intertwines with the unknown. The echoes of footsteps and whispers fill the air, hinting at secrets unspoken.

Once a vibrant haven for druid and cleric scholars of Darkmoore University, the gardens now lie in disarray, overtaken by creeping tendrils of unnatural darkness that whisper to those who dare to enter. The remnants of ancient herb beds and crumbling stone walkways hint at the reverence this space once commanded, as shadowy figures seem to linger, seeking inspiration in the twisted flora that have taken root in the decay.

The Darkmoore University Housing District is filled with streets of old homes and shops, long lost to the curse of the mist, where only a few souls remain. Shadows linger in every corner, and the air is thick with an eerie silence, broken occasionally by the whispers of those who have succumbed to the curse.

Darkmoore University Main Hall

Darkmoore University Main Hall

The Darkmoore University Main Hall stands as a testament to knowledge and ambition, its massive stone walls a relic of a time when scholars thrived in droves. Now, the halls echo with memories of what once was, with libraries and lecture halls waiting in silence for the minds that once animated them. The scarce inhabitants whisper of glory days, leaving a haunting sense of loss that clings to the very air. The only entrance seems to be the Main Hall Front Gate.

Mogmouth

Mogmouth

Mogmouth, another run-down town in Darkmoore, is cursed by an eternal mist that seeps through the cracked streets and decaying buildings, shrouding the area in an unsettling gloom. Only a few buildings remain standing, with the old tavern and crumbling homes serving as reminders of a forgotten past, while the townspeople, if any survive, keep to themselves in fear of the lurking creatures that roam in the shadows.

The Cursed Road

The Cursed Road

The Cursed Road is an eerie and foreboding path that stretches between the decay of Brownrot and the darkened shadows of Mogmouth. Travelers speak in hushed tones about the malevolent forces that seem to linger along this stretch, where the very air is thick with an unsettling silence that weighs upon the heart. A stray dog, gaunt yet determined, may occasionally be spotted wandering the road, guiding the perceptive toward the remnants of a forsaken life lost to the land's dark whims.

The Forsaken Acres

The Forsaken Acres

This farmhouse and field now stand derelict, a reminder of the death and pain the mist brought with it. Once a thriving homestead, it is now an eerie reminder of loss and despair, shrouded in an unnatural fog that seems to swallow the land whole.
