Long ago, the sky broke. A massive celestial object called the Aetherfall shattered in orbit, raining glowing fragments across the world. These fragments embedded themselves into the land, oceans, and even living beings. From them emerged Aether, a supernatural energy that allows people to bend reality in specific, personal ways.
