The First Era — The Bound Beginning (Year 1–412)

Also called: The Era of Anchoring

Year 1 — The Binding
The Firstbound enact the First Accord, anchoring themselves to Andorea and stabilizing reality. Divine war becomes impossible. The world gains permanence.

  • Magic crystallizes into usable forms

Years 10–100 — The Shaping
Indirect divine influence molds continents, climates, and ecosystems. The Firstbound establish their Aspect Realms and divine anchors in Andorea.

Years 150–300 — The Mortal Dawn
The first mortal races emerge where divine domains overlap:

  • Humans arise in regions of balance and adaptability

  • Elves near ley-lines and Verdant Vast echoes

  • Dwarves within the deep stone shaped by fire and form

  • Aasimar appear sporadically as celestial echoes

Year 412 — The Withdrawal
The Firstbound retreat from overt influence, acting only through signs and chosen agents. Mortal history truly begins.


The Second Era — The Age of Roots (413–903)

Theme: Survival, nature, and early belief

  • Tribal societies form

  • Oral traditions dominate

  • Gods are revered as spirits rather than rulers

Key Developments:

  • Sylvanreach Enclaves emerge as elven forest-circles

  • Verdant Tide Circles form along jungles and coasts

  • Early seafaring cultures begin worship of Thalassar

  • Druids formalize ley-line stewardship

Year 903 — The First Cities
Permanent settlements appear, marking the end of nomadic dominance.


The Third Era — The Age of Crowns (904–1417)

Theme: Civilization, hierarchy, and divine interpretation

Major Events:

  • Valecrown Kingdom forms around fertile plains and trade routes

  • Ironhold Compact unites dwarven fortress-cities

  • Early merchant republics evolve into the Gilded League

  • Crystal-focused mage-kings give rise to the Crystal Caliphate

Religious Shift:
Gods are no longer spirits—they become authorities. Temples, dogma, and divine law emerge.

Year 1417 — The Starfall Event
A celestial body crashes into Andorea, creating the floating foundations of the Starfall Principality and awakening astral magic.


The Fourth Era — The Age of Mandate (1418–1896)

Theme: Divine right, empire, and schism

Year 1422 — Founding of the Solarian Imperium
Aurelion’s faith is codified into imperial doctrine. The Emperor claims celestial mandate.

Key Developments:

  • Luminara Concord forms as a gentler theocratic alternative

  • Azure Theocracy establishes coastal priesthoods

  • Skyrend Clans unify mountain tribes through strength and survival pacts

  • Frostvein Hold rises to guard northern passes

Year 1703 — The Shadow Schism
Nyxara’s worship is declared heretical by Solarian doctrine. This leads to the birth of the Umbra Dominion.


The Fifth Era — The Age of Conquest (1897–2331)

Theme: War, expansion, and ideological conflict

Major Conflicts:

  • Ashen Dominion rises through scorched-earth conquest

  • Obsidian Satrapy expands under Khar’zul’s banner

  • Forest wars erupt with Sylvanreach

  • Mountain and tundra borders ignite

Year 2109 — The Hollow Crown Ascends
A mortal monarch binds himself to undeath, founding a necrocracy that defies Morveth’s cycle.

Year 2260 — The Deepwyrm Wars
Underdark expansion brings the Deepwyrm Enclave into open conflict with Ironhold.


The Sixth Era — The Age of Fracture (2332–Present)

Theme: Uncertainty, fading faith, and choice

Defining Traits:

  • Endless regional wars

  • Conflicting interpretations of the Firstbound

  • Divine power feels distant and strained

  • Prophecies fail or contradict

Key Modern Developments:

  • Lunarch Ascendancy emerges from moonbound citadels

  • Free Isles of Kharos reject all law but survival

  • The Free People found Meditzersia as a haven from banners and gods

  • Scholars whisper of Nullivar’s growing influence where belief falters
