Firstbound Realms - The Firmament of Binding

The Firmament of Binding

The Firstbound do not live in a single place in the mortal sense. Their existence is layered, constrained by the same Binding that defines them. Where they “live” depends on who is asking—and why.

Below is a clean, lore-consistent structure you can use in Andorea.

The Divine Abode of the Firstbound

The Firmament of Binding (True Name, largely unknown)

Also called The Bound Beyond, The First Sphere, or The Silent Above.

This is not a plane, but a state of reality that exists alongside Andorea. It is where the Firstbound are anchored—each god fused to the force they embody.

It has no ground, sky, or horizon

It cannot be reached by spell, gate, or divine travel

It is perceived only through visions, prophecy, or catastrophic events

The Firmament exists because the world must be held in place. If the Firstbound fully departed, Andorea would unravel.

These realms:

Are extensions, not homes

Can be entered by powerful mortals

Reflect belief as much as truth

Can fracture or decay if the Firstbound weakens

Anchors in Andorea (Divine Tethers)

The Firstbound are further bound by anchors—physical locations in Andorea where their influence is strongest:

Dawnspire Citadel (Aurelion)

Ancient ley-groves (Elarion)

Fallen stars (Zaharet / Lunarchs)

Volcanic thrones (Khar’zul)

Shadow nexuses (Nyxara)

Mass graves or crowned crypts (Morveth)

Destroying an anchor does not kill a Firstbound—but it weakens their reach.

Why the Firstbound Cannot “Descend”

The Binding forbids:

Permanent avatars in the mortal world

Direct divine warfare

Unlimited miracles

If a Firstbound fully manifests, reality fractures locally—causing plagues, starfall, or planar collapse.

Common Mortal Beliefs

Different cultures believe different things:

Solarian Imperium: “The Firstbound dwell in radiant heavens above us.”

Umbra Dominion: “They are chained beyond sight, whispering through shadow.”

Free People: “They are stuck watching us live.”

All are partially correct.
