The Unhollow
(Also called: The Nowhere, The Empty Between, The Unplace)
Aspect of Nullivar, the Unmade
The Unhollow is not darkness. Darkness implies presence.
It is a vast expanse of almost, where space exists but refuses to be meaningful. There is no horizon, no ground—yet one does not fall. Sound is swallowed instantly. Thought feels delayed, as if unsure whether it should exist.
Objects appear unfinished:
Ruins without builders
Doors with no walls
Shadows cast by nothing
Visitors perceive gaps—memories missing seconds, names dissolving mid-thought, spells unraveling before completion.
Environmental Effects
Identity Erosion: Prolonged presence causes loss of titles, allegiances, and eventually names
Magic Collapse: Spells require twice the effort; divine magic risks failure if faith wavers
Time Stagnation: Events happen without sequence; cause and effect weaken
No Hostility: Nothing attacks—but nothing helps
The greatest danger is not harm.
It is becoming irrelevant.
