Ash of the Sixth
Unique arcane focusing staff of hybrid origin, part-@Kthon craftsmanship, part-@Altaran sorcery, and part-whatever material was born from the Endless Unity's collapse. The most commonly accepted account holds that an enigmatic @Kthon Sorcerer forged the artefact and bestowed it upon the @Altaran sorceress Veheloth-Nyr to aid her in destroying the Sixth Providence of the Chosen from within. Yet the truth remains contested beneath sixty thousand years of Altaran propaganda and narrative-spinning: some claim she slew the @Kthon war leader in battle and seized the staff as a prize, while others insist the artefact itself corrupted her, driving her toward rebellion and ruin. What is known is that her uprising failed, ended by an orbital strike that reduced her cause to ash—hence the name.
The staff survived the devastation, passing through the archon Mehvol-Anar until he fell before the psionic wrath of @Arakhor reborn, after which the remnants were preserved and yielded to @Malevanthor Abrenach, who reforged them during the Great Schism for his own personal use within the @Ashen Remnant.
