@Mechanist Chargant
Mechanists display pale grey thermo-resistant skin capable of withstanding temperatures approaching water's boiling point for extended periods, as well as innate resistance to various types of radiation. Their vision extends into infrared and ultraviolet spectrums. Upper body strength exceeds most other augments, though reaction times remain unaugmented. Their most distinctive feature is unique neural architecture allowing direct mind-machine interface via implanted silicon computers and cybernetic organs, creating a biological-machine hybrid that operates equipment through thought alone. This chargant is engineered to perform various tasks, such as maintenance and repair, on various equipment such as powerplant generators, energy converters, and dangerous machinery elements.

This chargant was purpose-made for the infiltration of various human and near-human societies found across the galaxy, and to this end, the @Surveyor's external appearance was made maximally similar to that of a galactically-average @Baseline Human. To this end, the @Surveyor is neurologically optimized to blend into distinct social groups or circles, with the typical representative of this chargant possessing what many would describe as excellent charisma, emotional intelligence, and a cold, calculating personality. These characteristics make surveyors excellent leaders and organizers, and for this reason many find themselves in various administrative or bureaucratic roles, despite their original niche role.
To best fit their role as a social infiltrator and spy, they possess hyper-acute visual and acoustic senses, detecting normally odorless substances, radioactivity, and electromagnetic fields. They can see infrared without equipment, breathe in hostile environments, and possess enhanced regeneration, reinforced bones, and the Tultherian gland for body temperature manipulation to avoid thermal detection.
Despite appearing identical to baseline humans, surveyors possess significantly greater mass density and augmented reactions. Unmodified, males weigh approximately 100 kg while females weigh 80-90 kg at average height.
