For those new to D&D 5e and/or Friends & Fables. Here you can learn through meta level discussion and immersive roleplay. Start off at an academy where you can learn more about both D&D 5e, the Friends & Fables platform and how they integrate. Once you have a good grasp, you can venture out into the world to start an adventure of your own while being able to revisit the academy for any follow-up questions or learning you could want!

This World was made for those who are interested in D&D 5e and/or the Friends & Fables Platform but aren't quiet sure about the rules, mechanics or how this system works. You'll start off in a D&D Academy where your learning adventure will begin. There are NPCs available to answer any questions you may have though meta level discussions or even through roleplay examples. Once you feel like you're ready to head out, there is an entire world crafted that will be beginner friendly. - To get things started, click on Play on the right hand side and you'll get a pop up asking if you want to start a Campaign. - Go ahead and start the campaign and you'll be brought to a new screen where you'll see a button labeled "Create Character". Give it a click and a new pop up will appear. - Things may look a bit much if you're new to D&D and F&F but there is a very easy way to get a jump start on creating your character. In the top right, You'll see a "Generate With AI" Button you'll want to click. - A new pop up will appear with an empty text box. Below is an easy template you can copy/paste into it and fill out. Once you're done, click the "Generate" Button and all the information will be filled out: Name: Pronouns: (He/Him), (She/Her), or (They/Them) Race: Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Half-Elf, Halfling, Half-Orc, Human, Tiefling Class: Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock After those are done, you'll want to fill in a bit about what you imagine this character looks like, acts like, maybe something about their past. If you can't think of anything, don't worry as long as the Name, Pronouns, Race and Class fields are filled out, you can submit and random information will be made for you. You can even just say that you're starting out new. Don't worry about which class or race to pick, you can always change it later after learning more about them, same with everything else in the character sheet. You won't be going into any crazy adventurers until you're ready. Make sure you scroll down and hit submit. You'll then be asked where you want to start and if you'd like to invite anyone to join your campaign. Stick with the first option that shows up (Foyer) and click on the "Start Campaign" button. To make things clear to Franz, I suggest putting actions you take in between two * marks and anything you want to say in between quotation marks. I highly encourage you to ask whatever questions you may have. Don't worry about being in one "class room" too long, the NPCs and your friendly GM Franz, won't mind and will encourage you to ask more questions. And definitely don't worry about staying too long in the academy. Everyone learns at their own pace. Good luck and welcome to Friends & Fables!
