Description
Charybdis is a monstrous sea creature who resides in the depths of the ocean, embodying the wrath of nature with an insatiable hunger for ships and sailors. Its gaping maw can swallow vast amounts of water to create dangerous whirlpools, dragging unfortunate victims into its abyssal depths. Some say it was cursed by the gods, transformed from a naiad into this terrible entity that poses a deadly challenge to any adventurer brave—or foolish—enough to traverse its waters.

Swallow
Charybdis can attempt to swallow a creature that is medium or smaller. The target must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or take 45 (10d8) bludgeoning damage and be swallowed. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside Charybdis, and it takes 21 (6d6) acid damage at the start of each of its turns.
Whirlpool
Charybdis can create a whirlpool in a 60-foot radius centered on itself. All creatures in the area must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 36 (8d8) bludgeoning damage and be pulled 30 feet toward Charybdis. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not pulled.
