Sea Serpents

Sea serpents are the dragons earliest ancestors. The ancient sea serpents came onto land and eventually went on to create proto-dragons. Sea serpents are long and have six fins that went on to become limbs. They live in the water and can go very deep. Many do not need air, but some species still have lungs and live in shallow waters.

The Sea serpent is always long, has up to six fins, and often has a back fin for display. They eat meat, and the biggest ones often prey on dragons sailing over the ocean. They look like long, eel-like dragons with ring-like fins/flippers on their sides.

Proto-Dragons

These are dragons before dragons. They looked very similar, but lacked the magic sacks that new dragons have. This species then split into true dragons, and fake dragons. Fake dragons tend to look more like birds, and do not have magic sacks.
