The beginning of Followers of Death

The religious group started off small. It began in small circles of proto-dragons who have had brushes with death. These near-death experiences gave them visions with Death in it, and the word slowly spread.

A small circle in @Greenway was the foundation for the religion. @Deception , who was in the early stages of magic sickness, served as a way to talk to Death. This made him spark in popularity very quickly, allowing him to spread the word of Death. He was the foundation for many of the current beliefs, even if he is seen as extreme today.

The Banishment

Sometime in the past, after Death was popular and long before the current day, Death instructed his followers to build him a massive statue in his likeness. He made them make it a heart of magic crystal so he could inhabit it once they were done. He kept his promise and possessed the statue after it was done.

Death used the statue to go on a rampage against human settlements, mainly anti-dragon communities. After a short rampage, Life came down and crumbled the statue before banishing Death to the waters of the sea, forcing him to take physical shape and be an island— where he sits today as @Death Island .
