Have an out-of-pocket adventure or a complex ballad in an alternative modern setting!

Author's Note: Welcome to AlterEarth! This is a work in progress RPG in a modern setting mixed with fantasy elements. The world includes many locations from Earth, though it does not cover the whole planet. Some real world locations are edited to fit the world or make them more interesting. Notes: -This world contains a lot of inside jokes between me and my friend. They are still enjoyable without the full context but that's the reason for a few of the weirder characters or locales. -This world is a work in progess. There is already enough content to have a good campaign, but I am adding more. -The intention is not to include all or most of Earth, just the "best" parts. -This world can create serious and complex campaigns and characters or absolutely hilarious nonsense depending on what you input. Both are good. -You may have to edit encounters or certain generated NPC's due to F&F's tech limitations. If you enter an encounter but there are NPC's missing, try adding them manually by pressing "edit encounter" and finding the desired NPC's. If the NPC's that should be there haven't been generated yet, delete to here the last message after you rolled for initiative and tell Franz to include certain characters in the encounter. Be specific! It's worked for me so far. You'll find out once you play, but I may at some point add some generic NPC's for use in encounters and put them in the corner of the map so that you can easily add them to your party or encounter. -Many of the weird locations or bits of lore in AlterEarth are based on real life (Rape Cemetary, Blood Falls, Conyers Biolab Exclusion Zone) though somewhat exaggerated. -All references to real people and events are satirical and should not be taken literally! Caricatures and hyperbolized versions of public figures are included in the story for either comedic or story purposes. No offense or insult is intended to anyone!
