The world of Essentia contains one gigantic continent called Avalon. There, three Warlords wage war against each other, all attempting to gain full control of the continent. Each Warlord controls 1/3 of the continent, through their own personal power and military might. The cities, towns, and villages close to their Warlords capital settlement are better protected and supported, while the outer settlements mostly have to fend for themselves. Monsters, normal and mythological, Gods, Demons, and more exist and sometimes use Avalon and its inhabitants for entertainment.
