The café becomes a focal point of community resistance when corporate fixer Eva Thorne attempts to eliminate the free-food policy, leading Vincent to charge her exorbitantly for coffee while keeping it free for others. The café features a massive freezer powered by a fusion reactor, rumored to be safer than traditional fission reactors, and is said to be larger on the inside, reflecting the quirky nature of Eureka.
