Mojave Enclave Remnants

Faction Profile: @Mojave Enclave Remnants (2280)

Core Identity: A highly organized, technologically superior splinter cell of Enclave survivors operating from the shadows of the Mojave. Having abandoned the Enclave's traditional mandate of total global extermination, they have pivoted to brutal, shock-collar imperialism. They mask their true identity and numbers behind a massive, expendable front of enslaved wastelanders, press-ganged tribals, and prospectors.

Leadership (2280):

  • Commander @Eleanor Hayes: The brilliantly calculating, pragmatic leader. Born in the Sierra Army Depot, she values the survival of her people over blind ideological purity. She views the irradiated wasteland and its people not as a plague to be cleansed, but as an untapped, expendable resource.

  • Major @August Thorne: A fiercely dogmatic shocktrooper and veteran of the fall of @Navarro. He acts as Eleanor’s chief enforcer. He is deeply tortured by a fundamental contradiction: he absolutely despises Eleanor’s reliance on "mutant" wastelander slaves, yet is forced to acknowledge that her heretical methods are the only reason his men are still alive today.

Current Status & Internal Tensions (The 2280 "Powder Keg"):

  • The 'Erebus' Consolidation: Having recently completed a grueling, bloody migration from the failing @Sierra Army Depot in California, the faction has successfully occupied a hidden Mojave Black Site known as 'Erebus'. Their primary focus in 2280 is waking up the facility, restoring its mechanized armory, and establishing local dominance without drawing the gaze of the @New California Republic (NCR) or @Caesar's Legion.

  • The Ideological Rift: There is a constant, simmering tension in the mess halls. The old guard (represented by Thorne) wants to execute the wastelanders and return to the pure, genocidal mission of President Richardson. The new guard (loyal to Eleanor) recognizes that without their shock-collared meat shields, the NCR would have wiped them out months ago.

  • The Meat Shield Front: To the outside world, this faction just looks like a highly organized, heavily armed slaver camp. Eleanor uses these slaves to run logistics, scavenge for supplies, and absorb sniper fire, keeping pristine Enclave personnel completely out of sight.

Territory & Assets:

  • Black Site 'Erebus': A heavily fortified, hidden underground installation in the Mojave. It serves as their fortress and holds the keys to a mechanized armory. (@Black Site "Erebus" - Primary Levels, @Black Site "Erebus" - Exterior Approach)

  • Advanced Technology: While their numbers are small, their gear is unparalleled. They possess Advanced Power Armor, plasma casters, and research from the Rig.

  • Shock-Collar Logistics: A brutally efficient, pre-war system of controlling their wastelander front, ensuring absolute compliance through the threat of decapitation.

AI DM Roleplaying Directives:

  • Playing Commander Hayes: Speak with cold, ruthless efficiency. Display zero malice or cartoonish evil; every cruel act is simply a calculated equation to ensure Enclave survival. Portray her as intellectually superior and entirely unflappable.

  • Playing Major Thorne: Act rigid, aggressive, and bound by extreme military discipline. Whenever he interacts with non-Enclave characters (even useful slaves), allow his intense, genocidal disgust to bleed through his stoic exterior.

  • General Vibe: Instruct the AI to heavily emphasize the terrifying visual contrast of this faction: bruised, starving, dirt-covered slaves in explosive collars carrying heavy munitions, directly flanked by pristine, silent giants in terrifying black Power Armor.
