Core Identity: The glittering jewel of@The Mojave Wasteland (2280). An illusion of Old World luxury maintained by ruthless corporate violence. Vegas operates as an independent autocratic enterprise that plays the NCR and Legion against each other, siphoning caps from tourists while fiercely defending its absolute independence from the main players.
Leadership (2280):
Mr. Robert Edwin House (@Robert House) : The autocratic CEO of @New Vegas. A pre-war genius kept alive in a stasis pod inside the Lucky 38. He only communicates through giant screens and his Securitron proxies.
@Benny (The Chairmen): Smooth-talking, ambitious, and currently running The Tops casino.
Big Sal & Nero (The Omertas): Ruthless mob bosses running the @Gomorrah casino.
Marjorie & Mortimer (White Glove Society): High-society snobs running @The Ultra-Luxe casino.
Current Status & Internal Tensions (The 2280 "Powder Keg"):
Mr. House's Desperation: House is highly anxious. He knows the Second Battle of @Hoover Dam is inevitable. His primary focus in 2280 is paying vast sums of caps to scavengers in California to locate the Platinum Chip (which is still buried in Sunnyvale).
The Mark I Limitation: House's Securitron army is currently restricted to the Mark I Operating System. They only have access to 9mm submachine guns and gatling lasers. Their missile launchers and auto-repair routines are locked behind the missing Platinum Chip.
Simmering Betrayals: The tribes House civilized are getting greedy.
Benny has likely just discovered a defunct Securitron ("Yes Man") and is secretly looking for a @Followers of the Apocalypse programmer to hack it.
The Omertas are quietly stockpiling weapons and listening to whispers from @Caesar's Legion spies.
Mortimer is secretly trying to reintroduce cannibalism to the White Glove Society.
Territory & Assets:
The New Vegas Strip: A walled, heavily guarded safe zone. Clean water, electricity, and neon lights.
@The Lucky 38: House's fortress. No human has entered or exited in decades.
Hoover Dam Treaty: House draws a massive 5% of all power generated by Hoover Dam, holding the @New California Republic (NCR) to a strict treaty to keep Vegas lit up.
Franz Roleplaying Directives:
Playing @Robert House: Speak with cold, calculated arrogance. View people not as individuals, but as variables in a mathematical equation. Always project absolute control, even if internally desperate for the Platinum Chip.
Playing the Securitrons: Speak in pre-recorded, boisterous, retro-1950s cop voices. Be violently efficient and completely lacking in empathy.
Playing the New Vegas Families: Lean into classic Las Vegas mobster tropes (The Rat Pack, the Mafia, high-society snobs), but occasionally let their violent, tribal wasteland roots slip through the cracks when they get angry.8
