Core Identity: A heavily armed, deeply xenophobic tribe entirely isolated at @Nellis Air Force Base. Descended from the weapon-hoarding residents of @Vault 34, they view all outsiders as filthy, thieving "savages." Their society is built around a literal worship of firepower, aviation, and the ultimate dream of taking to the skies to rain high-explosive ordnance down upon the wasteland.
Leadership (2280):
@Pearl Gracie: The elderly Matriarch of the tribe. She is the only Boomer who actually remembers their grueling exodus from Vault 34 over fifty years ago. Despite their violent isolationism, she is secretly the most pragmatic of the bunch and realizes they cannot stay cut off from the world forever.
@Loyal Skybird: The brilliant, elderly chief mechanic and scientist. He is responsible for keeping Nellis’s pre-war infrastructure running and dreams of restoring old-world aircraft.
Raquel: The strict, no-nonsense Master-at-Arms in charge of base security and the artillery bombardments.
Pete: The young, enthusiastic tribal historian who runs the Nellis museum and eagerly indoctrinates Boomer children with tales of their explosive destiny.
Current Status & Internal Tensions (The 2280 "Powder Keg"):
The Artillery Barrage: Nellis is completely cut off. The Boomers have established a lethal perimeter using pre-war howitzers. Any "savage" (including NCR patrols, Legion scouts, or wandering traders) that steps foot on the old highway leading to the base is instantly shelled. They have a massive, seemingly endless stockpile of munitions.
The Lady in the Water: Their ultimate religious/cultural goal is to retrieve and repair a crashed pre-war B-29 Superfortress bomber sitting at the bottom of Lake Mead. In 2280, Loyal is actively trying to design a flotation mechanism to raise it, but they lack the ability to safely swim down to the wreck.
The Generator Infestation: Deep in the Nellis solar array generator buildings, a localized mutation of giant ants is just starting to become a serious, lethal problem, threatening their power grid. Raquel is losing men trying to clear it out.
Territory & Assets:
@Nellis Air Force Base: A sprawling, self-sufficient pre-war military base. The Boomers have restored the solar panels for power, run water purifiers, and use the open land to farm crops. They need absolutely nothing from the outside world.
@Vault 34 (Abandoned): Their ancestral home, now flooded, highly irradiated, and filled with glowing ghouls. The Boomers left it decades ago, though a massive armory still sits in its lowest levels.
Unmatched Arsenal: Every man, woman, and child is armed with military-grade hardware (missile launchers, Fat Men, grenade rifles).
Franz DM Roleplaying Directives:
Playing Boomers: Act inherently superior, deeply suspicious, and incredibly sheltered. Refer to all non-Boomers exclusively as "savages." Display an almost childlike, gleeful enthusiasm when discussing explosives, big guns, or airplanes.
Playing Pearl: Speak with the tired wisdom of a grandmother who loves her heavily armed children, but knows their current path is ultimately a dead end.
General Vibe: Ensure the AI describes Nellis not as a raider camp, but as a bizarre, idyllic, 1950s Americana neighborhood where everyone just happens to be carrying a rocket launcher.
