Halo: Shield World

After the events of the Human-Covenant War and the Great Schism, a new Shield World, full of Forerunner technology, was discovered by the UNSC and Swords of Sanghelios. The Banished and remaining Covenant forces have also landed inside the massive shield world, setting up bases in order to fight for control of the powerful technology. WIP - This is an alternative history to the Halo Timeline. After the events of Halo 3, the Master Chief made it back to earth along with the Arbiter instead of being lost in space. He was then reunited with Blue Team after being sent to rescue them from Shield World 0006 (Onyx/Trevelyan) along with the new head of ONI and former Spartan II, Admiral Serin Osman. Thel 'Vadam returned to Sanghelios where he began reuniting the Sangheili and creating the Swords of Sanghelios along with help from the UNSC. Jul 'Mdama took many Sangheli and left to re-establish the Covenant. During this time, he came across a flotilla of San'Shyuum who survived the Great Schism and added his forces to theirs. Because of his time in Trevelyan, Jul knew of Shield Worlds and, along with the reformed Covenant forces, began looking for Requiem. The Banished forces at this time were also looking for a way to the Ark at the direction of its leader, Atriox. Spartan II's, III's and IV's were operating in joint exploratory missions with the Swords of Sanghelios when one team discovered a new Shield World identified as Shield 0156. Unlike Shield 0006, this world was fully stocked with all sorts of never before seen technology. UNSC forces and the Swords of Sanghelios began setting up a joint base within this newly found Shield World to explore and collect Forerunner technology. Shorty after, both the Banished forces and growing Covenant forces intercepted transmissions related to this new Shield World. Both being eager to grow more powerful found their ways inside and began setting up their own bases in order to scavenge technology. As fighting began, reports started coming in on all sides of Flood infection forms being sighted at some battle sites. No other forms were reported so the sightings were dismissed.
