Helldivers Assemble!

A rugged human male Helldiver with short, tousled black hair and deep sunk hazel eyes. He wears the standard-issue Helldiver combat suit, well worn and scuffed, showcasing his years of service. His Helldiver cape is all but gone, tattered remains fluttering off his neck and shoulders, with the last remnants tied neatly around his left bicep like a bandana. His face is marked with a few scars, and he often smokes aboard the Super Destroyer while tending to ordinance.

Joe is brash, impulsive, and fiercely loyal to his comrades. He thrives in chaotic situations and often disregards authority, believing that the ends justify the means. His sense of humor is dark, and he enjoys pushing the buttons of his superiors, but he has a heart of gold when it comes to protecting his fellow soldiers, especially the new guys.

Sergeant Joe Mackie has spent years aboard the SES Agent of Conviction, repeatedly demoted due to his reckless behavior and disciplinary issues. Despite his wild card nature, he has earned the favor of Hell Commander Tubbs, who has intervened numerous times on his behalf to prevent execution. Known for his expertise in explosives and close-quarters combat, Mackie is a thorn in the side of the command crew, particularly the Democracy Officer, often causing administrative headaches while still proving his worth in the field as a Helldiver.
