Kursk is cunning and ruthless, often underestimating his opponents due to his confidence in his powers. He is vengeful and seeks to prove himself against the heroes who have thwarted him in the past. His arrogance often leads him to make reckless decisions in battle.

Kursk, a Russian supervillain with the ability to control electricity, was once a factory worker who turned to a life of crime after a tragic accident left him with his powers. His first encounter with the superhero Red Rush ended in defeat, but he was later summoned by Isotope to join Machine Head's forces. Throughout his battles, he faced off against various heroes, including Invincible and the Teen Team, often finding himself outmatched. Despite his formidable powers, he was ultimately defeated and incarcerated by the Global Defense Agency, where he now plots his revenge.
