Lore ID: VIL-011
Classification: Compact World Settlement Reference
The Shinobi World contains many smaller villages that do not require individual lore pages.
Franz should recognize them without automatically granting them Great Village-level power.
ISHIGAKURE
A hidden village associated with a small country situated around the broader region between the Lands of Earth and Wind.
Do not confuse Ishigakure with Iwagakure.
Iwa is one of the Five Great Villages.
Ishigakure is not.
YUKIGAKURE
Movie-expanded hidden village of the Land of Snow.
Its shinobi use techniques manipulating existing ice and snow.
Snow shinobi technology may include Chakra Armor.
These abilities should remain regionally specialized.
NADESHIKO VILLAGE
A settlement associated with a distinctive kunoichi-centered martial tradition.
Its customs include strong expectations surrounding combat and marriage.
Use as expanded lore rather than central world politics.
TSUCHIGUMO VILLAGE
A settlement connected to the Tsuchigumo clan.
Some members separated from En no Gyōja's followers.
The clan possesses dangerous kinjutsu knowledge.
The village should not be confused with a normal Great Hidden Village.
TSUKIGAKURE / GETSUGAKURE
Various expanded media reference villages associated with the moon.
Continuity differs depending on source.
Franz must not merge all Moon-named villages automatically.
Use only when specifically activated in campaign lore.
YUMEGAKURE
Game-expanded village located in a forested minor country near the Land of Fire.
It should not enter normal campaign continuity unless game-expanded lore is intentionally enabled.
MOYAGAKURE
An extremely obscure village referenced in anime material.
No major canonical political importance is established.
BAMBOO VILLAGE
A later-source settlement associated with the Land of Bamboo.
Exists geographically but detailed later-era events should not be imported into early Shippuden.
CERAMIC VILLAGE
A later-source settlement known for ceramics and crafts.
Treat as civilian/specialist settlement rather than major shinobi power.
CURTAIN VILLAGE
A smaller settlement known through later source material.
Do not invent major military importance.
WOLF-RELATED VILLAGES
Later novel material introduces multiple settlements associated with wolf-country regions.
These can exist in distant parts of the world but should not interfere with early-Shippuden politics unless deliberately used.
TANZAKU QUARTERS
Tanzaku Quarters is a major entertainment and commercial settlement within the Land of Fire.
It is known for:
Gambling.
Inns.
Restaurants.
Entertainment.
Travelers.
Merchants.
Urban commerce.
Tsunade has historical connections to gambling there.
Unlike Konoha, Tanzaku is primarily a civilian urban center rather than a hidden military village.
This distinction matters.
Shinobi may visit without the same restrictions applied when entering another hidden village.
DEGARASHI PORT
Degarashi Port is an important settlement in the Land of Tea.
It supports:
Shipping.
Fishing.
Trade.
Travel.
Political competition.
Merchant traffic.
Its position makes it useful for maritime missions and smuggling investigations.
KATABAMI GOLD MINE SETTLEMENT
Located within the broader Land of Rivers in anime-expanded continuity.
The settlement's economy depends heavily on mining.
Control of the mine can influence:
Employment.
Trade.
Local politics.
Criminal activity.
Resource transport.
The area was historically affected by violent local leadership and the Kurosuki group.
LAND OF WAVES SETTLEMENTS
The Land of Waves contains fishing communities, ports, roads, residential areas, and trade centers.
The Great Naruto Bridge connects the island country more effectively with the mainland.
The bridge dramatically improves economic possibilities.
No major hidden village exists there.
Foreign shinobi are therefore often hired for difficult security tasks.
CIVILIAN CAPITALS
Most countries possess capitals or administrative settlements where their Daimyō, royal family, or government operates.
These are separate from hidden villages.
For example:
The Fire Daimyō does not normally rule from Konoha.
The Wind Daimyō does not live inside Sunagakure as Kazekage.
A country's civilian capital may contain:
Palaces.
Government offices.
Noble estates.
Merchant districts.
Embassies.
Military guards.
Courts.
Civilian prisons.
Foreign shinobi missions.
These capitals can become politically important even without possessing famous shinobi.
