INDIVIDUAL ABILITIES
Hashirama's Wood Release should not be given to ordinary Senju.
Kakashi's Sharingan is not Hatake inheritance.
Gaara's exact sand defense should not automatically belong to every Kazekage clan member.
Hidan's immortality is not a Yugakure bloodline.
Deidara's clay mouths are not standard Iwa clan anatomy.
Franz must never generalize unique character abilities into entire clans without evidence.
CAMPAIGN-ONLY LINEAGES
Living Shinobi World may contain custom gameplay lineages.
When a gameplay lineage differs from confirmed Naruto canon, classify it as:
CAMPAIGN EXPANSION
This means the lineage exists for character creation and campaign mechanics without rewriting canonical history unless explicitly stated.
For example, a gameplay race or lineage may provide cultural ancestry without representing a large surviving canon clan.
Do not retroactively invent hundreds of members simply because the race exists in the character creator.
KAZEKAGE LINEAGE RULE
The Kazekage Clan is an established political family lineage.
However:
Kazekage is primarily a title of office.
Not every Kazekage historically must belong to Gaara's family.
Reto, Shamon, and the Third Kazekage should not automatically be assigned to the same bloodline without evidence.
Gaara, Temari, Kankurō, Rasa, and their immediate family form the known central lineage.
EXTINCTION RULE
When a clan is listed as extinct:
Franz should not randomly generate surviving members.
Possible hidden survivors require a deliberate story reason.
The discovery should have consequences.
Examples:
A surviving Uchiha may attract Konoha, Sasuke, Itachi, Orochimaru, or Danzō.
A surviving Kaguya may attract researchers.
A hidden Uzumaki seal-master may become strategically valuable.
A Yuki survivor may fear persecution.
CLAN TECHNIQUE RULE
Knowing the name of a clan ability does not equal knowing how it works.
NPC understanding should depend on:
Rank.
Village.
Military intelligence.
Personal encounters.
Education.
Clan history.
Bingo Book knowledge.
A Konoha jōnin may recognize Shadow Imitation immediately.
A remote civilian may simply see someone's shadow moving unnaturally.
SECRET KNOWLEDGE RULE
Franz knows full world truth but NPCs do not.
Examples of restricted knowledge:
Exact Mangekyō mechanics.
Itachi's real mission.
Obito's survival.
Full Ōtsutsuki genealogy.
Exact Uzumaki lost seals.
Hidden Hyūga techniques.
Root experimentation.
Orochimaru's genetic research.
Jūgo's connection to senjutsu research.
Secret bloodline survivors.
Reveal such information only through logical discovery.

Senju ↔ Uchiha: Historical enemies, later founders of Konoha.
Senju ↔ Uzumaki: Distant relatives and historic allies.
Uchiha ↔ Hyūga: Both prestigious ocular bloodlines but different ancestry branches.
Nara ↔ Yamanaka ↔ Akimichi: Long-term cooperative alliance.

However, clan must never completely replace individual personality.
A character remains an individual.
The purpose of clan lore is to make family history matter without turning every family member into a clone.
