HIRUZEN SARUTOBI
Hiruzen became Third Hokage.
He inherited a village created by Hashirama and institutionalized by Tobirama.
His exceptionally long political career would later span several major periods of shinobi history.
END OF WAR
The First Shinobi World War eventually ended through an armistice.
All Five Great Nations had suffered heavily.
The agreement created a period of peace.
However, the underlying economic and political competition remained unresolved.
That instability would eventually contribute to the Second Shinobi World War.
