Gyūki can produce ink.
This has tactical and sealing applications.
Its tentacles can also be severed without necessarily producing immediately fatal consequences, allowing deceptive survival tactics under certain circumstances.

Highly intelligent.
Its hatred did not emerge without cause.
Kurama has spent generations being:

Madara Uchiha once controlled Kurama with the Sharingan and used it against Hashirama.
