The UD-98 Titan is the largest operational assault lander fielded by the Colonial Marines, purpose-built to deliver armored spearheads directly from orbit into the heart of hostile combat zones. Designed by United Dynamics Aerospace (UDA), the Titan combines the lifting capacity of a strategic transport with the survivability of a frontline combat aircraft.
Unlike conventional dropships, the Titan was engineered around a unique drive-through deployment system. Massive bow and stern ramps allow armored vehicles to enter from one end and deploy from the other without turning around, dramatically reducing landing times and minimizing exposure under enemy fire.
The Titan serves as the primary heavy transport for Marine mechanized forces, capable of carrying the M577A5-LC Colossus APC, the Rhino Main Battle Tank, multiple APCs, engineering equipment, or an entire reinforced platoon in a single lift. Modular cargo racks allow rapid reconfiguration between armored assault, troop transport, medical evacuation, and logistical support missions.
Built around a heavily armored hull and six vectored fusion-lift engines, the Titan can survive atmospheric entry, sustained anti-aircraft fire, and emergency landings in the harshest environments. Its redundant propulsion systems, electronic warfare suite, and onboard defensive weapons allow it to fight its way into—and out of—landing zones where lighter transports would be destroyed.
